Emily Rhoads, Audit Manager, joined Martin Hood in 2021. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in 2013 and Master of Business Administration with a focus in Accountancy in 2014 from Eastern Illinois University. She manages audit engagements with clients concentrating on the not-for-profit industry. Emily is passionate about working with not-for-profit organizations and has managed associated audits for the past 5 years, during which time she has become familiar with the unique issues that organizations face. This has prepared Emily to engage in problem solving and address any auditing challenges. She has also led audits completed under the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and Government Auditing Standards. Emily states, “My goal is to foster and develop long-term beneficial relationships with my clients. I enjoy tailoring my approach to ensure I serve my client’s primary and secondary needs, and even some needs they don’t know they have.”
